Bailey is always complaining that she doesn't get to be my model as much as Presley. So she was VERY excited when I received an order for an 11 year old a couple of weeks ago. The mom who placed the order said her daughter was VERY girly and would probably wear her tutu everywhere. I thought she did a great job in choosing the colors. It turned out really pretty if I do say so myself! :) The model is kinda cute too!

Tutus, Dresses and Skirts

I have a few new things to show off...
The first is a tutu dress. This would be adorable for Christmas photos or cards! It's made with hundreds of yards of soft red tulle. There is a black satin bow that ties around the neck and another that ties above the waist.

Craft Show Drawing Winner!!

Congratulations to Melissa King of Arlington! She was the winner of the Bow Bouquet Drawing that was held during the Arlington Craft Show. The bow bouquets are a really cute gift idea. The bows can be worn of course and you can use the "stems" to store your extra bows on! These are $15.00 as shown. More bows can be added for an additional charge if you would like a fuller bouquet.

I haven't posted any new items lately because I have been super busy! I'm getting ready for my first craft show and I am really excited and REALLY nervous! Holiday Tutus and a Tutu Skirt!

My girls love to dance and spin in skirts that are "twirly". That is what inspired my newest little creation...the tutu skirt! And just like I hoped, Presley LOVED trying it on! "Hot Pink Tutu Skirt"

Just like the tutus, this skirt can be made any just about any color or color combo. The price for these are $25-30 depending on the length ordered. The skirt shown is $25.00

O.k, I didn't even notice that Presley is wearing a Halloween shirt until I started writing this, so try to ignore it. :)

"Peppermint Tutu"

This tutu is white with red satin ribbon cascading down the tulle. I also made one with curly red grosgrain ribbon that is adorable! This tutu is $20.00.

"Santa Baby"

This tutu is made with red tulle and has white pom poms attached to the waist. I can also do this for a tutu skirt if you'd prefer. The cost for this tutu is $20.00.

I received an invitation to a baby shower for my cousin Andy and his wife Tiffany. They are having a little girl. I was so excited because I had been wanting to make a tiny tutu and this gave me the perfect opportunity. I also made a little t-shirt to go with it. The "Hot Pink" tutu costs $20.00. The t-shirt is $12.00.

My usual tutu model is my beautiful and oh so sassy daughter Presley. Unfortunately, she had the flu last week and wasn't feeling up to putting on a tutu. Fortunately, I have gorgeous nieces who could fill in for her. I took a couple of tutu dresses that I had been working on over to their house and took a few pictures of them. It was a huge bonus that I got to spend some time with 2 of my favorite little girls and their Mommy (who also happens to be one of my favorite people in the world)!

"Hot Pink"

This is the first infant size tutu that I made so I wanted to make sure the sizing was right. It was a perfect fit and SO adorable on Lily!

The tutus cost $20.00 and can be made in any size and a wide variety of colors.

"Santa Baby" Tutu Dress

This adorable dress has yards and yards of soft tulle, white marabou trim and a large satin bow that ties in the back. Lily was so precious in this dress! She kept grabbing fistfuls of tulle and then she would try to get it into her mouth! :) So adorable!!

Ella was having WAY too much fun in the tutu dress, twirling and dancing around, to pose for a picture! Jo (her Mommy) got a few really cute action shots though!You can't tell from the pic but Ella's dress is just like Lily's except Ella's is trimmed in satin ribbon instead of marabou trim. These tutu dresses can be made in any color or size and with your choice of trim. The cost for these are $40.00.

Light Purple Tutu Bag

All of the hair clips are made from grosgrain ribbon and are attached to lined alligator clips. Some have googly eyes, buttons and/or pom poms attached. The cost for all of these cuties is $2.50! The tutu bag is made with light purple tulle and a beautiful satin bow. The bag costs $25.00

I just finished this bag and couldn't wait to show it off! It can be used as a dance bag, purse or for toting whatever you want!!

The bag shown has a white boa trim at the top. I can put satin ribbon there instead if you'd like. The handles are covered with satin ribbon. If you'd prefer to have them without the ribbon, I can do that also. The tulle shown is baby pink but I can make it an just about any color you'd like.

These are my "Deluxe" bows. I LOVE these!! Presley wore a brown one the other day and it was adorable. I can make them in any color. Halloween Bows and Tutus

With Halloween right around the corner, I made a couple of bows and a tutu for the occasion. I also have a cute spider clip with google eyes that I haven't photographed yet. I am also going to try to make a Witches Hat clip.
The "Candy Corn" clips are $2.50 and the Orange and Black "Deluxe" bow is $3.50.

The tutu has orange and black tulle with a satin black ribbon waist. I can add another color tulle if you'd like. (Purple seems to be a popular choice for the Halloween tutus.) These tutus are $20.00 as is. I can also add Halloween themed ribbons that will hang down with the tulle for an additional fee.

My friend Liz is an AMAZING photographer. (You can check out her work here.) Recently, she photographed a little girl in a tutu dress and it was so adorable. With her encouragement I decided to give it a try. Here is what I came up with...For a child around Presley's size (3T/4T) this sweet dress will cost roughly $40.00. You can choose the color of tulle,ribbon and boa. You can also have the "boa front" like this one or I can put flowers there instead.

My girls LOVE these bug bows!! I'm also working on a spider for Halloween right now that is so cute! I can do the butterfly in any color combo. The center (body) can be curly, as shown, or straight. The antenna can be spiral or curved like the other bugs. They are placed on an alligator clip lined with grosgrain ribbon. The cost for these are $2.50 each.

A New Start

Recently, my 3 and 4 year old started preschool two days a week. So, for the first time in 10 years I have a few hours with no kids in the house. I decided to try some new crafts. I made a few tutus and also some hair bows. Everyone I show them to insists that I should sell them so here we are. I will be adding pictures and prices soon. Hope you like what you see!!
